What It Is:
Rewired Desire is a conference for young men and women on Biblical sexuality, healthy relationships with others (with both guys and girls), our longing for intimacy, and living a life in worship of Jesus Christ in these areas where we are prone to struggle.

Who Should Attend:
Young men from 6th – 12 grade & up    (we are expanding the college age program)
Dads & mentors

Also young ladies 8th to 12th grade on Saturday

We strongly encourage dads of middle schoolers to attend with their sons on the Friday night program.

Mission:
Our Mission is to equip and support young men and women, dads and moms, and mentors to live out and encourage in others a biblical, gospel-centered sexuality in all areas of life.

Foundational Beliefs:

We believe in one God, revealed to us in three persons in Scripture. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and that he lived a sinless life and then willingly sacrificed his human life on the Cross to pay for the sins of men. We believe God raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand.  We believe that forgiveness of sins, a life of growing holiness and obedience, and an eternity in heaven with Christ are available to all who repent from sin and receive God’s offer of forgivness through Christ.

Central Beliefs about Sexuality:

Our understanding of who we are as humans, as men and women created in God’s image, and the role our sexuality plays in our identity and our daily lives derives first from the Bible.

We believe that God designed men and women as sexual beings, made in God’s image and the God-given identity we have In Christ.

We believe that God designed sexual intercourse to be the physical union of one man and one women who have committed themselves to each other within the covenant of marriage.

Values:

We believe that the physical intimacy of marriage is a picture of the spiritual intimacy that a man or woman can enjoy with Jesus as Lord.

We believe that pursuit of artificial or counterfeit forms of sexual intimacy is generally a symptom of a deeper longing and search and desire for spiritual intimacy with Jesus.  Only by the grace of Christ through the Holy Spirit and various means of grace can we become repentant and obedient and live out a healthy, biblical sexuality.

For the Rewired Desire conference, we seek to convey a biblical understanding of God’s good design for sex and sexuality. We ask God to redirect (or “rewire”) men’s and women’s understanding of, feelings about, and actions toward a healthy sexuality in this biblical context.
